COME AND BE PART OF THE NEXT SHOW!
The launch meetings for BADCo’s 2022 production of “The Tailor of Gloucester” are taking place at EDF Barnwood on:
- Thursday 2nd September at 7.30pm
- Sunday 5th September at 2.30pm
Anyone interested in being involved with the show – in any capacity – should come along to these sessions. They will include a read through of the script, sharing info about the characters, hearing some of the songs, discussion about back stage roles and generally getting to know everyone. Casting for BADCo productions is usually done from these group read throughs and everyone gets an opportunity to say which parts they are (or aren’t ) interested in. Sometimes the Director will request specific auditions for certain parts and to hear people sing, where the songs are key to particular roles. This is all done in an informal friendly way! Wherever possible, please let us know if you are attending either or both sessions so that we can manage numbers – and if you are interested in taking part and can’t make either date please let us know and we will make alternative arrangements.
The performances will take place on:
- Thursday 17th February 2022 at 7pm
- Friday 18th February 2022 at 7pm
- Saturday 19th February at 1.30pm and 7pm
BADCo is part of the EDF Energy Sports & Social Club, based at EDF’s Barnwood office and you must be an S&SC member or willing to join as an associate member to take part. Children are welcome to join BADCo in line with our Junior Members’ Policy, which requires that a participating adult joins with them, and accompanies them to rehearsals. (The definition of “participating” is open to discussion if being on stage is not our thing!)
