BADCo’s own version of The Tailor of Gloucester was performed at EDF Barnwood from 17th to 19th February 2022
What was the show all about…?
In 1921, to mark the return of crowds to Kingsholm following the pandemic (Spanish Flu), Gloucester prepared to unveil their new strip. All did not go to plan, so the rugby club started the search for a new outfitter, who would become The Tailor Of Gloucester. It turned into a bit of a needle match. We donated £2750 to our chosen charity The Gloucester Rugby Foundation and £700 to EDF’s partner charity Prostate Cancer UK from the proceeds of the show.
